DStv continues to bring its customers the best in local and international entertainment, making staying home during the nationwide lockdown a lot more bearable.
Over the past few weeks, the platform has rolled out a slew of exciting content announcements that have bolstered its entertainment offering and further proven why DStv is South Africa's favourite entertainment companion.
For example, DStv welcomed new ‘edutainment’ channels to its platform in April to assist learners during their extended period at home. It also made staying informed about the global Covid-19 pandemic easier by adding 24-hour news channels to the DStv Now Free Service, opened up selected sports channels to more customers, and made BoxOffice by DStv movies available to rent at just R25 for selected packages.
From a DStv Compact perspective, customers can now enjoy exciting shows like local celeb wedding extravaganza with Somizi and Mohale: The Union on Mzansi Magic, not to mention the addition of the home of pop culture, E! Entertainment…meaning even more glitz and drama to look forward to!
But the fun doesn’t stop there. From 1 May to 29 May, DStv will open its Compact Plus channels up to Compact customers! This means DStv Compact customers will be able to enjoy DStv Compact Plus channels like 1Magic (DStv 103), Comedy Central (DStv 122), Africa Magic Urban Movies (DStv 153), CuriosityStream (DStv 185), History Channel (186), Nickelodeon (DStv 305), CBeebies (DStv 306), MTV Music 24 (DStv 323) and Sky News (DStv 402) for that period at no extra cost – all they have to do is stay connected.
