Covid-19 impacts DStv Indian package

Zee TV and Colors are just some of the channels impacted

Filming has been halted at Film City in Mumbai, India, as well as a number of other locations where content for the DStv Indian package is filmed. The disruption comes as a number of other productions and television schedules have been affected by the global Covid-19 pandemic.

Some prime time programming on the DStv Indian package has been affected by the production paused. This includes:

Zee TV

After the recent announcement of lockdown from multiple countries due to the ongoing global pandemic of the COVID-19 virus, many television channels are faced with a challenge to bring fresh content for their viewers due to the disruption in production schedules. But, even through these tough times, Zee TV Africa viewers can still enjoy a lineup of fresh content on their screens.

“As an entertainment channel, we strive to bring our viewers the best that Bollywood has to offer, especially during these times, so we can bring families closer together while keeping them safe.” says Harish Goyal, CEO of Zee Africa and Asia Pacific.
