Holi-YAY: Watch and sing along to Boomerang Tunes on YouTube

Boomerang recently launched a series of songs specially created for kids. The YouTube videos are not only entertaining, but highlight values of family, friendship, the holidays and Christmas.

Boomerang (channel 302) has launched new children-specific songs called Boomerang Tunes that are guaranteed to get your little ones into the festive holiday spirit. The songs, which release on YouTube once a week, are part of a playlist of sing-along melodies inspired by Africa and include tunes about the holidays, Christmas, family and friendship.

Belt out these tunes:

Here in Africa, we are known for our amazing dance moves and being able to sing and rap to nearly any song under the sun. That’s why these catchy Boomerang music videos are certain to be a hit. Two cute little kids sing and dance to specially themed videos which are both fun and entertaining – one features a Wizard of Oz like adventure and another speaks about all the cool things kids get to do during the holidays.

Worried your youngster might not know the words? Each song includes onscreen lyrics making it easier for them to learn and sing. We think it’s a good idea to use #BoomerangTunes when sharing these videos on social media, helping everyone to get into the holiday spirit. But that’s not all, check the Boomerang Africa YouTube page once a week for awesome kids’ content.

The holi-yay spirit doesn’t end there as DStv’s School of Laughter features the best, funniest and most entertaining movies and series to keep kids occupied this festive season. Then there’s the Animania festival, which is back with a bang featuring all the best-loved movies. Read more about it here.
