For more action-packed fare, Jessica Chastain (The Help) stars as Ava Faulkner, a recovering addict and former soldier turned assassin, in Ava. After she questions orders and breaks protocol, she becomes the next target of the deadly organisation she works for. Catch this lethal film on M-Net Movies 2 (DStv channel 106).

More action and aplomb awaits with Cut Throat City on Showmax. Set in 2005, after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, four friends attempt to pull off a daring heist. Also on Showmax – and one for kids and adults alike – is the complete Harry Potter collection. That’s right: all eight movies can be enjoyed back-to-back from Thursday, 13 May.
