Plus there’s WWE Smackdown and the ATP 1000 event – both in the US.

Ahead of the weekend, there will be a bombardment of top programming featuring epic past matches and events, interviews, profiles and classic showdowns that have stood the test of time.

The motorsport channel, already jam-packed with legacy content, will profile a range of Formula One legends, among them Lewis Hamilton, Mika Hakkinen, Alan Jones, Jack Brabham, Emerson Fittipaldi, John Surtees, Alain Prost and Juan Pablo Montoya.

Several classic Formula One races will also be re-broadcast.

Fittingly, the best KOs of 2018 and 2019 will be featured, plus a series of middleweight champion Israel Adesanya’s bouts.

On a weekend that includes several spicy World Cup qualifiers, SuperSport will put the spotlight on the past glories of several English Premiership clubs, starting with Liverpool in the 2020-21 season (March 26) to be followed on consecutive days by Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.

Starting on Wednesday and continuing through the week, there will also be recaps of past European Championships dating as far back as 1972, when West Germany triumphed.

Additionally, there will be a whole bank of LaLiga content ranging from top past matches to interviews, the “Clasico” movie and “The Matadors of LaLiga” featuring Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

For rugby viewers, “Blue Reign”, premiering on March 24, will delve into the Blue Bulls’ wonder years, while the Springboks will feature in “Against the Odds”.
