Now that’s entertainment! April is a month of winners for movies lovers on DStv, with the big hitters coming to TNT (DStv channel 137) and the major M-Net Movies channels (DStv channels 104 and 106)

Awards show hype has been building for months, and we are finally here! April is Oscars Month on DStv – in honour of the 93rd Annual Academy Awards, which will take place on Sunday, 25 April (02:00-05:00 on Monday, 26 April South African time) at the Union Station Los Angeles and the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center. The ceremony will honour the best films and talents on screen and behind the scenes in movies released between 1 January 2020, and 28 February 2021.

You might think that with the global pandemic lockdown there’d be slim pickings. But in the end, 366 films were eligible for the awards, which was actually up from 2020’s 344 films.

And with an impressive back catalogue of Oscar winning movies, DStv’s TNT (DStv channel 137) and the M-Net Movies channels are here to get you red-carpet ready…
