Fans of Ocean’s 8, Crazy Rich Asians and The Farewell – rejoice! Awkwafina returns to our screens with this show that is a comfortable meeting of comedy and poignant drama. Loosely based on her own life, Awkwafina plays 20-something Nora who tries to carve out her independence while embracing the struggles of living with her grandmother. Look out for some stellar guest appearance from the likes of Laverne Cox (Orange Is the New Black), Simu Liu (Kim’s Convenience) and Jaboukie Young-White (The Daily Show).

But to win this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, these culinary-trained contestants from across the United States will have to show they’ve got the management skills, leadership styles and temperament to run a US$10-million establishment.
