The Real Skinny (Medical Weekends)

The Real Skinny follows Sarah and Chris, who, after undergoing gastric bypass surgery and losing an enormous amount of weight, will go under the knife once more to remove huge folds of loose, skin that has been left behind on their smaller frames. This touching special chronicles the journey of the couple’s transformation: the pre-surgery jitters and fears, the relief immediately afterwards, and their hopes for the future as they get used to their new bodies.

Painfully real, The Real Skinny is a powerful reminder of the wonder of the human body, our emotional connection, and the lengths to which some of us go in order to live a full, active life.
