Taryn is ready to kiss her single life goodbye on Finding The One

This week on M-Net’s light-hearted reality dating series Finding The One, long-time singleton Taryn is ready to open herself up to find love again.

After experiencing a massive heartbreak in her younger days, she decided to put her love life on hold for an extensive period. During this time, she became a strong and independent woman, but now after years of being single, the 35-year-old from Sandton is ready to get back into the dating game.

Taryn has had a long history of falling for emotionally unavailable men. This time around, to avoid making the same mistakes, she recruits her best girlfriends to play matchmakers and find her a man. Being the high maintenance lady that she is, she has got a long list of requirements that need to be met – he needs to be mentally and financially stable, accomplished, and emotionally available – because she’s not about to be settling down with just anyone.

Her best girlfriends are Jacqui Carpede (36), the strong-willed best friend who believes that she knows what’s best for Taryn; Nikita Groenewald (29), who is all about the romance and lastly, Michelle De Wet (34), the only successfully married bestie who brings her relationship expertise to the table. Jacqui and Nikita have the fun job of taking the potential candidates on a group date, while Michelle and Taryn get to snoop around the bachelors' homes.

Will the matchmakers be able to find their best friend a man that matches up to her standards? And will the match be a hit or miss? Tune in to find out!

Finding The One will be screened on M-Net 101 every Sunday at 6pm from 6 October 2019. It will also be available on DStv CatchUp.
