There’s a movie for everyone this Easter weekend on DStv

Make the most of Easter weekend and Family Day with the best movies – only on DStv

Gather the entire family for this week’s Sunday night blockbuster on M-Net (DStv channel 101). A new Trolls’ musical, The Call of the Wild. In this film, a sled dog struggles for survival in the wilds of the Yukon.

There’s also plenty of action on M-Net Movies 2 (DStv channel 106). In Search and Destroy, an American Ranger fails to save a family being held hostage and loses his entire team in a battle with an infamous Ukrainian arms dealer. Three years after being discharged, he is approached to go on a private contract mission when the arms dealer resurfaces.

To lighten the mood, round up your mates for a girls’ night in with Girlfriends’ Getaway on M-Net Movies 4 (DStv channel 108). The Real’s Garcelle Beauvais portrays a successful businesswoman who is dumped by her fiancé. To get her mind off it, her girlfriends take her on a vacation to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where chaos and hilarity ensue. In need of more laughs? Join YouTube sensations Roman Atwood, Dennis Roady and Vitaly Zdorovetskiy in Natural Born Pranksters on Studio Universal (DStv channel 112), where the trio take their tricks to the big screen.

And for even more magical movie goodness, TNT (DStv channel 137) has a line-up of feel-good family films from the past scheduled throughout Easter weekend. From Saturday, 3 April through Monday, 5 April, enjoy movies such as Dreamer with Dakota Fanning and Kurt Russell, Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot featuring a much younger Sylvester Stallone, Mighty Joe Young with SA export Charlize Theron and a pre-Twilight Kristen Stewart in Catch That Kid, amongst other great films.

And if you need even more great entertainment, DStv has you sorted with all the latest movies.
