Unlimited entertainment awaits with this week’s line up of international series

Get cosy on the couch with new and returning international series this week on DStv.

With well over 300 hours of scripted television, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit continues its reign as the longest-running show on TV. Dedicated fans and new viewers are in for a real treat as the latest season starts on Universal TV (DStv channel 117). The first episode of the new season – the 22nd! – is a two-hour premiere co-written by series star Mariska Hargitay who portrays Detective Olivia Benson.

Not only is there a double bill premiere of Station 19 S4 and Grey’s Anatomy S17 on M-Net (DStv channel 101), but the back-to-back episodes will be a two-hour crossover spectacular! When a wildfire rages out of control, Seattle’s finest fire department gets to work on putting it out. Later that evening, members of the team are informed they were in contact with a new super-flu that has hit Little Sand Point. It's called COVID-19, and it’s spreading from person to person. They must immediately report to Grey Sloan Memorial for testing and quarantine. The doctors themselves are unsure of what to do next as more people come forward with startling symptoms.

The freshest season of Riviera returns to BBC Brit (DStv channel 120). A year has passed since we saw Georgina Clios (Julia Stiles) leave the cursed European wealth behind in a bid to start a new life. Now a rising star in international art restitution, Georgina has partnered up with the charismatic Gabriel Hirsch (Rupert Graves). Together, the pair share a passion for justice and embark on a world tour to source stolen works of art. Their ambition takes them from Venice to Saint Tropez and finally to Argentina, where they are thrown into a dark, dangerous and captivating conspiracy.

Everyone’s favourite family, the Johnsons, returns to 1Magic (DStv channel 103) in the seventh season of Black-ish. Their normal chaos is even more spectacular as they deal with elections, pandemics and weddings.

Matt LeBlanc (Joey from Friends) is back in Man with a Plan S4 on M-Net (DStv channel 101). Family man Adam Burns’ marriage to Andi is tested when she finally decides to rejoin the workforce and work the family construction business.

Don’t forget to keep a lookout for even more amazing international content here, only with DStv.
