Do you miss the enjoying a good old jol with family and friends over the weekends? Well, kykNET is bringing the jol back to you! So, dust off the dancing shoes and warm up your voice for Kom Ons Jol, screening Saturdays at 20:00 on kykNET (DStv 144).

Kom Ons Jol is an interactive music program featuring electrifying music and tons of opportunities for dance, sing-alongs and fun in the comfort of your own home. Some of the country’s top artists also join in the fun, when they visit the show to give viewers acoustic sets of their biggest hits.

Viewers get the opportunity to send special messages to friends, families and loved ones with music videos during the show every week. They will also get the chance to send karaoke videos that might be shown during the show on kykNET.

There will also be a weekly social media challenge for viewers from the Kom Ons Jol team where there’s always time for fun in between the music.

The presenter of Kom Ons Jol is none other than Hamilton Wessels, who accompanies viewers during the two hours between all the music, guest artists, videos and the Saturday night adventures with their loved ones.

Says Hamilton, “I’m really excited about Kom Ons Jol because the success of the show will for the first time not depend on the celeb guests or the presenter but on the most valuable asset of kykNET... the viewers. Viewers wil not only be able to call in or send a WhatsApp message but can also send in videos to us during the show. Thus they will become Kom Ons Jol-guests!”

Hamilton will kick off every week with his favourite music video and will check in on viewers via their social media activities. He will also look at videos that viewers has send in to the team. Indeed a show for the viewers by the viewers!

Hamilton will also during the course of this two hour interactive music program take about several phonecalls from viewers at home where they can request different music videos to be played.

A few celebs will also be popping in on Kom Ons Jol and tell us what they are getting up to on a Saturday night. And in the last hour of the show there will be two sessions where an artist will be making some much-needed music.
