Get your biggest, brightest bows on, break out the glitter and get ready to dance to the irrepressible beat of NickToons (308) breakout US pop sensation JoJo Siwa as she takes viewers backstage and on tour with her record-breaking debut D.R.E.A.M. Concert tour in this magical, multicoloured musical special. We’ve rounded up the reasons why JoJo Siwas’s D.R.E.A.M. Concert Special is the musical event that the whole family will want to bust a move to along with the #SiwaNation.

1. Backstage access

The special features footage of JoJo herself as she talks about her favourite moments, the inspiration to some of her biggest hits and what it means for her to be able to do what she loves for over 1 million people. There’s also heart-felt fan interviews, dancing rehearsals and all the backstage activity that goes into putting on one of the most successful tours of the year. “The TV special is really exciting,” JoJo told The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s like a kind of a version of my show, which changes unofficially with every single show… I’m excited that people will get to watch [my show] over and over again.”

2. She’s all about inspiring her fans

While most child stars are singing about boys and love, JoJo’s music aims to uplift and inspire. Her song Boomerang is a response to school and cyber bullying, while her anthem D.R.E.A.M. carries the clear message that hard work and big dreams can take you anywhere you want to go in life. So instead of posing in bedsheets for famous magazines or experimenting with drugs and alcohol (pitfalls of many a child-performer at her age), JoJo is living her best life and making sure her fans are too!

3. Record-breaking hits

If you haven’t heard any of her hit songs, you are possibly over the age of 16. Her breakout song Boomerang has been viewed over 782 million times on her YouTube Channel, and is RIAA-certified platinum. Kid in a Candy Store is RIAA-certified gold, and her new songs D.R.E.A.M. and Hold the Drama are quickly moving up the charts as well. All these songs feature in the highly energetic non-stop 80-minute performance and the special includes concert footage of all her hit songs.

4. All the coolest moves

Having made a name for herself on the reality dance shows Dance Moms and Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, you know JoJo is going to bring the moves. Working with famed choreographer Richy Jackson, who’s collaborated with Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, JoJo and her team of dancers put in all the hours to perfect their performances and the special gives fans front-row seats to every breath-taking sequence.

5. More dates added plus Madison Square Garden!

The worldwide tour itself has been more than just JoJo’s dream-come-true – it’s been a phenomenal success for a relative newcomer to the music scene. It’s recently been announced that 50 more shows have been added, including a performance at the hallowed Madison Square Garden, the ultimate venue that musicians of just about all genres and ages aspire to perform at. Her tour is currently the fifth-most profitable tour on the Billboard Hot Tours Chart – just behind the Queen of Pop herself, Madonna.

6. Heart of gold

It’s also been announced that JoJo will donate $1 of out of every ticket sold to Dancers Against Cancer, an organisation that provides support to dancers, trainers, choreographers and their families in the dance community whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Considering her tour has already earned a jaw-dropping $26.9 million, it proves that this is one celebrity with a heart of gold and her feet firmly on the ground. The floor just happens to be a dancefloor, covered in glitter, in the biggest concert venues around the globe!
