The sons of Ragnar battle for dominance in this historical Norse epic, now streaming on Showmax.
The final season of epic Norse saga Vikings is available on Showmax, with new episodes being added weekly.
What should you expect? Ragnar Lothbrok’s sons will be wrapping up their destinies… in war. They’re Vikings and pillaging, plundering and all-out chaos is the name of the game for the boys.
Don’t worry – it’s not a short season. There will be 20 episodes in total but split in two, like normal.
And it’s also focusing on two of Ragnar’s most important sons: now-King Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig) and cruel warmonger Ivar The Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen). And while Ivar is trying to conquer Russia, his real dream is ruling Kattegat, the tiny fishing and farming village his father helped build.
The show is still Vikings, but it’s changed over the seasons. This is going to be a proper wrap to the story with characters we’ve come to know and love. The only sad part is that Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) is having a lesser role. We love you, Lagartha!
Vikings seasons 1-5 is leaving the platform on 31 January 2020, so if you’ve yet to charge into this epic Norse series, now is the time to go berserk.
