Vote for your top African influencer now!

The E! People’s Choice Awards is an annual American event that recognises the best people in movies, TV, music and pop culture. The key thing about these awards is that the fans get to vote, choosing as the winner those they believe are the best of the best.

A new category has been added to the list for 2019, African Influencer of the Year. The eight celebrities on the shortlist are Bonang Matheba, Cassper Nyovest and Minnie Dlamini-Jones from South Africa; and Davido, Diamond Platnumz, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid and Yemi Alade from Nigeria.

You have until Saturday 19 October at 05:59 to cast your votes, and if you do it on a Tuesday every vote counts as two. You can vote up to 25 times per method, per category, per day. Vote online here or via Twitter. Fans can send a public tweet or retweet and include one category hashtag, one corresponding nominee hashtag and #PCAs.
